Munqa（ムンカ）
2010年よりスタートしたアーティストmuuがデザインするライフスタイルブランドです。
NEWTIVE（ニューティブ）＝NEW＋NATIVEをコンセプトとし、
影響受けたカルチャーと民族文化のミックス（混合）をテーマとしています。
Munqaのフィルターを通した新しいNATIVEの表現を追求しています。

Munqa のジュエリーは
素材はすべてスターリングシルバー（シルバー925）製です。
シルバージュエリーは、制作・仕上げに至るまで全てが日本の熟練の職人の手によって作り出される一点物です。
ヴィンテージのネイティブジュエリーと同じく、銀を溶かし板金を作ります。
表面が均一でないのはわざとその技法を取っているからです。
シルバーで流通しているものの多くは、キャスト（型）を使った大量生産のものが多いなか、Munqaのジュエリーは基本的に、形の切り出しも全て職人の手作業による手切りです。
スタンプも一つずつ手打ちです。線の表現の箇所は筋彫りと言って、これもまた手彫りです。
全ての工程が、一人の職人によって作業されており、
よく見ると全て同じ表情・形ではないのは、この生産方法をとっているからです。

Munqa
Munqa is a lifestyle brand founded by Artist Muu in 2010.
Brand concept is " NEWTIVE = New + Native."
All designs are mixed of influenced cultures during his youth and Folk Art.
He pursue "NEW Native" expression through the Munqa's filter.

Munqa Jewelries are made from Silver 925.
Whole production starts making board using melting silver. This is the reason why jewelry surface become inconsistent.
Munqa Jewelries are truly made by hand following vintage native american jewelry making technique, Even though majority of silver jewelries are made by cast technique nowadays.
From making silver board, cutting each jewelries to stamping and carving ( Suji-bori) all designs are processed by hands of Japanese master craftsman one by one.
Due to this hand making process, every single items have slightly different shape or different facial expression.
